Baked Brie

Baked Brie

Baked Brie 3540 3540 Long Gully Grove

1 round of brie (I use a 200g triple cream brie)
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
½ teaspoon dried chilli flakes
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves, or another herb of your choice
¼ cup chopped walnuts
Drizzle of good quality honey
Ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celcius.
Place the brie on baking paper on an oven tray or ceramic baking dish.
Mix the garlic, olive oil, chilli flakes, rosemary leaves, walnuts and honey together. Pour over the brie. Add a grind of black pepper.
Bake in the hot oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is warm and soft.
Serve with chunky bread for soaking up the melted, dreamy cheese.

Note – once baked the brie can be tricky to move off the baking dish as it is melted and ready to collapse. It is best to move it on the paper or serve it on the dish it is baked in.
